Hotel Costabella

The hotel has a really warm and comfortable feel as soon as you walk in. The lounge areas are very comfortable with an honesty bar that was well stocked and reasonably priced. We had our dogs with us and although we were unable to take them into the restaurant we were able to book a table in the bar area and were served there for dinner. The food at the restaurant was extremely good and very well priced too. The bedroom was well decorated and very comfortable with Rituals amenities in the bathroom. The parking was secure too and was free to park. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel, beautifully decorated and clean. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Breakfast was a gorgeous buffet of hot and cold options the most delicious Apple cake I have eaten! We had dinner one night and it was excellent quality and choice. There was a small gym/sauna and it had everything I needed to work out. The pool was perfect for a dip after a long day exploring. The rooms were newly done up and were tastefully decorated and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and sound proofing. It’s about a 15 min walk into the Cathedral there is also a bus L2 that goes from outside the hospital across the road. I wish we had stayed another night!!

What a great hotel. The welcome from walking in the door was great, the man on reception was super helpful with anything we needed. We booked a double room and the design, quality and cleanliness was far beyond rooms we've stayed in at three times the price! The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was great. Loved the fact that there was a DAB radio built into the wall and you could fall asleep listening to music from speakers on the ceiling. Little things like light schemes depending on whether night or day function could tell that real thought had been put into the recent redesign of the rooms. The breakfast buffet was really good value with lots of choice and self service. Great coffee also! And loved the fact there was a sauna that can be used and a jacuzzi you can book for 30 mins slots for a small bit extra. And for those people driving, there's a big car park right off the main road. The next time we go to Girona again, we'll definitely stay here as the stay was one of our recent best and it was exceptional value!

Reception and restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was really nice and clean. We ate breakfast at the hotel and also had lunch a couple of times. The food was much better than we expected and the menu del dia is very reasonably priced. The pool area gets sunshine all day but there are also large umbrellas if you prefer shade. Aircon in the bedroom and communal areas worked well. Nice park and river nearby if you want to go for an early morning run before it gets too hot!

Room was very clean we liked it. We didn't have breakfast. "Kinda" walkable to the historical places by walk (20 minitues+ walk from hotel). We didn't have a car, but I think they have a big parking lot which is very easily accessible to the hotel, so if you're a driving tourist, I think this place is perfect - if we come back next time here, I'd bring a car instead of walking. It is pet friendly place so we could stay with our little doggies :) and the hotel prepared a big dog mat and bowl for them! :) Overall, good to stay with your furry friends.
